Breakfast sandwiches
We stopped to have a drink and sausage and bacon sandwich, all very nice, I liked the bacon a little more than the sausages, but the excellent hot drinks were very good. The staff is very nice, a great little coffee. All clean and tidy even make coffee with milk, which was very nice, charming and soft, all at a good price, highly recommended
Crack fry!
I visited during your stay at the Travelodge. Good price good breakfast. My only suggestion would be to introduce an average breakfast. I was more hungry than a small one (5 items) ... but I struggled with the older ones (9 articles). It is not a bad complaint.
VERY GOOD!
I had my second visit to Blods since I was in the area on business and I called for breakfast with my son. Warm welcome, great variety of food for breakfast and lunch and to take away. I had sausage and egg and my son had scrambled eggs and both were fantastic and served very quickly. Drinks are also served quickly. I also had a sandwich to go, which was lovely. Fully recommended and easily accessible, as there is a parking behind that only has 50 cents. Well done and I can not wait for my next visit!
mazzys munchtime treat
It was a nice time with the family, the food was delicious, very warm and well presented, the staff were helpful and it was very clean.
Good homemade soups
We had lunch at this bar after being auctioned across the street all morning. My husband only wanted a sandwich full of bread and bread. I ordered the leek and the potato soup which was homemade and absolutely fabulous. I asked for the option of a brown roll instead of a white one and at that moment things went wrong. I did not have a roll. What I got was a huge bag of dry burgers that twisted and turned in my mouth because it was an attempt. Soup 10/10. Shoot 0/10. It was absolutely cowardly. It's a pity with such a delicious soup.
Delicious food, relaxed and friendly team
On our way and stop by some brekkie. The cafeteria seems clean and welcomed by the staff. Had two poached eggs on toast with tea, a large big teapot that was lovely, the eggs were perfect, very well cooked toast, all excellent and for under £ 10 it was excellent value for money
A good discovery
Recommended by the front desk staff, I switched to Blods after a long and arduous train journey from Bristol with only chips and cakes available on the Arriva train tram in Wales. The Blods staff was lovely and they advised me to come in that you could only take cash, not cards. It soon became apparent when I heard customers talk about why. In the early hours of the morning, the coffee had been attacked. The staff council had been stolen, just as the box had been torn and stolen. What a pity to deprive the staff and the owner of what belonged to them. I was hungry, so I ate the lamb, the food arrived with Yorkshire pudding x2, mashed potatoes, peas, carrots and green beans, homemade sauce and mint sauce. The staff was exceptional considering what had happened.
5-star review!
Family breakfast: my 12-year-old son said we had to give this place a 5-star review because he had ordered what he wanted and not what he had chosen for him. Big breakfast (choose 9 from the usual breakfast list) small breakfast (choose 5). The child decides 3 sausages, 3 fries, beans, fried eggs and toast with tea. Me and the other half had other variations, but the highlight for me was the bubble and chirp option, which was really tasty. We all enjoyed our visit and, together with the very helpful and cheerful staff, we made sure that we will definitely be back for more.
