So, I finally had the pleasure. After many people who have told me about this unusual gem are worthy of being looked for, the opportunity was lost on Tuesday, when a friend chose her birthday dinner here. I must admit that as soon as I saw the place, I was happy. It's no more than a 15-minute walk to Hyde Park, so easy to navigate, and stands proudly on the corner. Once you enter the heat of the place (literally) and the staff immediately greets you. We had about 20 strength points, and we had to wait for the end of the table before we could sit down, so we were a little uncomfortable at the entrance, it's not CC's fault, but as a group there's not enough room in the dining room waiting. I heard that in the past they sent people to the pub across the street on that kind of stage, but that became a Tesco subway.
