I love local coffee shops in Fairfax. I can say that this will be good!
It took a couple of weeks to start working consistently, but now they're open to business! My husband and I stayed one night from Monday to Friday with our baby and we made some milk. Both the chai latte and the hazelnut tea were excellent. They also have other interesting flavors, like the fruit of passion.
I did not try any food, but they gave a variety of pies and sandwiches.
The seats are comfortable and include a very nice area on the top floor with an old Baskin Robbins decor. Check!
Very clean with impeccable bathrooms.
The best way to get there if you are heading for DC is through the district behind Chain Bridge. It's a kind of awkward turnaround. Ample parking in the lot.
My only wish is that they open at 7 instead of 7:30 a few days, so I could hit them before work!
Excellent cafeteria. I took the bacon egg and cheese on a croissant, chocolate muffin, coffee and espresso waiting for my son to leave the PVI. Great coffee, good food and very friendly staff I highly recommend it.
First let me say that I'm not a coffee expert ... but I love this place. I had a couple of months ago and finally I had the time to spend a lot recently. It seems like it was a house that became a cafeteria. It was spacious and had two levels. It also had a small fireplace, although I'm not sure it really works or not. I ordered a bacon, eggs and cheese croissant together with a mocha. The price is comparable to other places and I have no complaints about the taste. I'd definitely come back here.
I wish I could vote for this place without stars. I arrived at 9:15 on a Saturday and ordered a cappuccino and a breakfast sandwich. I received cappuccino a little on time, but I did not take my sandwich until 10am. Why? Because a small group of the church came in and occupied the only person who worked so that he could only make them drink. I ordered first of all but two of them and they all received their drinks and food before me. I should have completed my order before working on them, but maybe I'm not used to multitasking. I should have left because the sandwich was terrible too. Baked bacon, chewy bagel, rare egg. I thought about trying this place but I will not return until you find out how to provide adequate staff for your business.
This place must meet. We were the only 2 people in the shop and in 25 minutes we received our sandwiches. Once received, they were cold and tasteless. Not to mention they were out of bacon. Everything was in the microwave and soggy. Also, my husband got a burnt coffee, too expensive. I suspect this place will be out of service in the spring.
Excellent coffee: I do not care about Starbucks (unless you like to drink burnt coffee). I like small, independently operated shops that do their asado or in association with a boutique toaster. Coffee Corner uses Stump Town coffee and does a great job. If you really like Starbucks' burnt coffee, it happens. If you're ready for a really decent espresso or a drip. Highly recommended Difference in eating at a McDonald's or in a good restaurant.
It's so nice to have found another café on campus as beautiful as this! It is on a busy road but there is ample parking behind the store. It's a fairly large place with two floors and many places. They have slow jazz at the moment. It's a perfect place to study.
Entrepreneurs and customers, be careful: the owner of this establishment does not take care of his customers. If you're out of town, please browse this review and draw your own conclusions.
An old favorite that has fallen because of the current owner. After years of living in the valley, I have many memories of this coffee. However, after sponsoring this establishment this afternoon, our group of four was abruptly interrupted by the owner during our meal. The owner, like the stalker, looked at our meals and understood that he no longer wanted us to eat there. After a brief discussion in which they tried to educate the owner about why he lost the local sponsorship (the café was deserted), we decided that there are establishments in this city that treat their customers appropriately. As such, there is no reason to visit this bar, which was a quiet and pleasant place for anyone in the area. I recommend you visit any other bar or restaurant in the area. Until today I have not experienced this level of disdain for paying customers in this city. Not to mention the fact that he lost the neg
