The CVA2650 represents a unique combination of the Miele engineering commitment and the unique savoir faire of the Nespresso coffee capsule, two international brands synonymous with experience in their fields, working in tandem to produce the best home coffee system.
There are many doubts that your friends and family will have similar tastes when it comes to their favorite hot beverage. Some people will like their coffee short and strong, others will prefer their mild with a lot of foam. The CVA2650 is the perfect solution to serve a bespoke beverage to engage even the most demanding coffee drinker. A capsule carousel integrated into the system contains 20 individual capsules that allow you to offer 5 different blends: something for everyone!
The foam is the uncontested crowning of every coffee and the Miele system is an expert in this field. Its exclusive Cappuccinatore is an easy-to-use foam cup that supplies the foam directly into the cup or holds it back, giving you the pleasure of putting it in the drink.
The CVA2650 coffee system can be installed virtually anywhere in your home - offering a myriad of possible locations in new buildings or post-renovation applications. As an example of installation options in a kitchen, the CVA2650 system can be mounted above the counter, resting on the counter or installed in furniture at a variety of heights above, below or near other Miele appliances or in some special place alone. The installation restrictions are virally non-existent with this revolutionary product and the patented door hinge that makes access to the water tank convenient.
Nespresso has made the terms restricted & long place cliché .. They have a range of capsules called "ristretto" a blend of coffee or a mix specially made by the company and also have a "Long" range of capsules that are designed for their button long shot. This makes it a little confusing for those of us who have little knowledge of coffee. We all commonly have an idea of what espresso is, but when we see a small company advertising and long coffee capsules we can easily assume that these terms refer to a mixture of coffee, but this is far from true.
It is able to adapt to the preferred amount, however many nespresso drinkers like to add milk to their coffee so they can have a large cappuccino. So using a cup with a capacity of 5-6 ounces of coffee is the ideal size.
What a beautiful and informative site! I was looking for some basic information for a purchase in the near future. I reached the jackpot with this site! Much more than I could have hoped for. I will check regularly.
Super interesting! I never knew of the different Italian terms. It makes it much easier to understand the terminology of coffee, especially now I know what are the long nespresso machine pods, thanks for the article.
I am Italian and I am ashamed of not knowing it! I never knew that long coffee meant anything, I thought it was just an elegant way to say it. I've heard all three words follow each other in the cafes and restaurants of New York. Now that I know the difference, I feel like I'm more prepared to order something special in a bar than the same old man. Thanks for this useful information! 🙂
Yes, you're right, it's a great way to say it! The Italians instead would call it a longer extraction process, because it should not make the taste of your coffee water down. You should still get great flavors in a long time. For example, in the nespresso pods they actually have a specific range for the long shot. They regulate the capsules in order to still have the full flavor of your coffee
