Saeco produces a line of high-end coffee and espresso machines for domestic and commercial use. The coffee machines have a built-in LED panel to display various status messages and alert the owner to perform the necessary maintenance. Part of the regular maintenance of a Saeco machine is ventilation, which cleans the boiler and removes coffee residues. The process involves running boiling water through the unit.
Turn on the Saeco coffee machine by pressing the "On / Off" button on the front control panel. If the LED display on the front of Saeco shows the message "Ventilation", this routine maintenance should be performed.

I decalcified the 2x and cleaned the screens of the fermentation head and filter holder, but the water no longer goes down through the brewery. The water comes out of the steam rod and the steam also comes out of the steam wand. There is no problem there. I think what is happening is that the bomb is not addictive. I do not hear the background sound that I usually hear when the pump is turned on. What do you think of my problem? Is it something I can fix alone? Thanks for the help. I really like this car!
Thank you very much for your answers, Bruce and Henry. After a long concerted effort to fix this machine, I decided to throw it away and buy a new one. Now I am the proud owner of an Aroma Saeco. I hope this lasts a little longer than the previous one !!
Did you clean the back of the beer head screen? It is necessary to remove the cross-head screw in the center (be careful not to tear the head); If you are using very fine ground coffee, you can often get behind the screen and clog it. If this does not solve it ...
Is a jet of water coming from the steam wand when the car is cold? If so, then your pump is working. If it only comes out when the machine is hot, it is only the boiler pressure that pushes it and it may be necessary to replace the pump. This machine uses a ULKA EX5 and can be purchased at espressooparts.com and other online retailers. The pumps that die in these machines are quite rare, so I would be very sure that this is the problem before ordering a new one.
I cleaned the screen of the beer head by following its instructions, in addition to the part behind which the water comes out. Before reassembling it, I tried it to make sure the water came out. It took a couple of minutes, but voila! The water has emerged. Then I put the screen back on and made a cup of American. Yum Thank you
I used a renovated Saeco espresso machine that is used as an espresso machine Starbucks Barista & Saeco. After reading all these useful messages, I was able to confirm that the pump was working correctly (water pumped through the steam wand). I also cleaned the beer head and unscrewed the machine, but the dispensing button still did not work. When I pressed the dispense button, no sound was heard to indicate that the pump was not activated. In the end I could understand that I had a faulty wiring from the dispensing button to the pump. I was able to replace the cables in that section with the cables from my last machine and now my espresso machine works perfectly!
Note: after reading all the publications and watching all the videos online on my espresso machine, it became less intimidating when I realized that the machine is quite simple: it consists of a pump, a boiler, some pipes, cables and connectors I discovered that it is not too difficult to repair these machines if it also has a bit of mechanical tilt.
I received this used unit as a gift and it worked very well. One morning, the same problem had begun with everyone else. No water comes out of the main head, but the steam nozzle works. To shorten the story, let the unit warm up. Turn off the unit completely to prevent the pump from catching and turn the knob for the steam nozzle. He purged for a few seconds and stopped, I guess releasing the pressure on the line. Turn off the knob, turn on the unit again and try to prepare a cup as usual and the problem is solved. This was due to allowing the overflow to dry while the pump was still connected. Old post but it was the first
